match date

im a third yr student trying to set up my 4th yr rotations. I want to do ortho badly so i figure i will do about 3-4 months of ortho from sept -dec.

i wanted to know when exactly the match dates are for ortho for AOA and AMA and if they are early match or not, thanks

AOA match is usually early February. NRMP match is mid March. Final rank order lists are due 2-3 weeks prior to the matches. I don't believe that Ortho is part of the early match. For exact dates, try seaching NRMP, ERAS, and AOA websites. The dates for the next match cycle probably won't be posted for a few months.
