What is matching and post matching? I can tell it has something to do with residency training but can't find a solid explanation. Enlighten a brother....

You are right - it is part of the application process for residency. The "Match" ("Pass" in some cases) is the annual process of which 4th yrs and beyond apply to various programs. Some types of specialities/programs use the Match process, others Pass, some neither (I think some don't participate in either). I'm not sure if it works like Med Residencies where you list you top favorites and hope you "match" into a program. Check out the residency forum for more insight.

P.S. Some of my explanation may be wrong, since I've never gone through the process myself...Check out the websites to be sure.
