Just wondering, I know some of the match statistics are provided by the NRMP. But, does anyone if the number of applicants to each specialty is disclosed each year?

I'm not sure what your question is but I think the answer your looking for is on the NRMP website in various tables.

There is a link...I believe through ERAS that provides numbers for 2001 and 2002. They tell you the number of applicants in each specialty...and break them down into U.S. grads, FMGs, Canadian grads....also the number that are AOA, and average number of applications for each group. I do not know the link...but you can search it on ERAS.

I can't find this information, and I don't know that I've ever seen a table that complete online. These medicine/administration types keep a death grip on that data.

The only place I ever got actual numbers of total applicants was from a member of one of the RRC's.
