I ranked some prelim med's on my primary rank list after my derm, but I think they send a different email if you only get a prelim spot.

So far, no email from NRMP explaining that it was all a mistake and that they meant to say I didn't match, so it looks like I did, in fact, match.

it was such a long shot but we did it,

hard work, dedication, perseverance, integrity and good will

you guys were all so supportive through all of this, even in my absence I would occasionally spy in to see what the word was

and for those that didnt match try and try and try again, if its for you, and you love it

Let's say one of your rec writers congratulates you and then asks you to tell them where you matched on Thursday.

Does that mean you didn't match at the rec writer's program? The rec writer is on the match committee.

I don't think the programs find out who they're getting until Wednesday, so perhaps the hypothetical letter writer was just saying they'd like to find out where you ended up if it turns out not to be your home program...
 
Congratulations to everyone!!!!!! I am REALLY hoping to be in your shoes someday 🙂 I was wondering if it'd be okay to PM one or more of you guys to receive advice. I am an MS1 at CCOM.
 
ha!! Izzy let me tell you I am hoping to get that 1 interview this year, as I know for sure I'll be getting those rejections😀

But I'm giving it my best shot anyway, we'll see what happens:xf:
