to speed up the process I was just going to email my proffessors the matching LOE forms since I'm hours away from and just graduated from my school. BUT there is a spot that asks for applicants signature, adobe won't let me type it in and I don't have a scanner...can I just have it sent it without my signature? I asked the AADSAS guy and he said they were mandatory and I should comply with them but that they will accept the letter without my signature? 😱 What does that mean?

One of my professors is going out of town and needs it a.s.a.p. before they leave so I was just giong to take my chances esp. since some ppl say they dont' even use the matching forms and are fine. What do you guys think?

what do you think it means? it means you need to sign the matching form, duh.

i cannot believe i'm responding to such an inane post, but whatev....

print the form, sign it, fax/mail it to your professor and and be on your way.

if you cannot solve simple problems such as these, you're going to have a hell of a time in dental school.

good luck, jb!🙂

Faxing is fast. And if you have access to a scanner, you can scan the signed copy and email that. (What I did)

well is there any reason why you are not using Electronic method? sounds like your letters are ready already.

You should call AADSAS and ask if you can send the signed form directly to AADSAS to replace the unsigned form which is accompanying the LOR. This is a little complex for AADSAS but could very well be another option.

that's a good suggestion I didn't even think of that! I will def. try doing that and the other things suggested for LOEs. For transcripts though I dont' want them to be delayed any more so I think I'm gonna risk not sending in the matching form for some of the schools that I took summer classes at and that aren't as accessbile to get the matchign forms to :/

It's the first year they are using it so I don't know how well it'll work and you can't use it for transcripts which is the main matching forms that I am trying to rush since my transcripts need to get there NOW and not be delayed anymore 😳

Thank you all for responding though! I think the only that I can fax and get them to include it I will try otherwise just take my chances :scared: It sounds like it'll be okay wihtout some of them too I hope!

How does a professor sign the LOR he writes for you if he submits it via online??
