Alrighty...this may be a dumb question, but I have read the instructions a few times on the AACOM application, and it seems like Math courses are not part of the science GPA calculation...but engineering courese are considered science? Do DO schools not follow the BCMP format like AMCAS does?

Thanks

nope DO schools dont include math in the science gpa. was super lucky for me 🙂

Math isn't included in your science GPA, which I was not happy about. So I guess it's more like BCEP instead of BCMP.

whats bcmp? bcep? heh

BCMP = Biology, Chemistry, Math and Physics
BCEP = (made up by poster) = Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, and Physics ???

Yeah for me! Those darn math courses back in college are coming back to bite me in the ass! Let that be a lesson for you kids---let the professionals handle the upper level math, for the rest of us, just stick with calc. :S
