maybe i'm dumb.. question about grades

hey.. so i'm sure it says it somewhere but i can't seem to find it... if we have new grades to update.. like from summer school, do we have to contact each school or do we somehow let AMCAS know and they inform? i just got a grade for one of my summer classes and it'll help my gpa so i want to get it in like NOW.... haha how do i go about doing this??

please don't tell me i'm dumb haha.. i really have been looking through the AMCAS instructions and stuff and can't find it.

You would just have to update the individual schools. And yes, I have tried eating pudding with a fork.

do i just send a new transcript ..? or a new transcript with a note attached? or what?

i had to call AMCAS about this one. You just have to have the school mail the summer transcripts. You might want to also send them a note that it's on its way, maybe? Definitely don't send the transcript yourself; they won't take it.

is it mandatory to send them updates?

#1 it's so damn expensive to print so many transcripts
#2 the course i took during summer has nothing to do with my program, it's just a history of evolution i took it out of interest
