I haven't heard anything either and it has been nearly two months. But when I interviewed they said they were really behind.

how would they rank you if they haven't interviewed all of their applicants

This is my take on it (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Basically, after your interview, you get a score - they never tell you what it is, they just e-mail you to notify you that your file has been ranked. Every month or so, they take a handful of people with the highest score (or top-ranked, whatever) and accept them. If you don't get accepted during that month, your file is still considered for the next month's decisions (you'll receive a "hold" e-mail saying this), and so on. Then, sometime in spring, they'll take those people who weren't accepted yet, and put some of those on the waitlist. The others I think get rejected.

And yeah, they are very behind, it seems. I interviewed mid-October, but received only one e-mail saying that my file was ranked at the end of November. Nothing since.

Do a search on this board. They'll answer any questions you may have.

from what I understood at the interview day, they evaluate the files and then give them some numeric score. If this is exceptionally high, then you will get accepted right then. But if not then they will put you in a pile of applicants that have been "ranked" and every time they evaluate applicants they will refer back to that pile and chose some that they will offer acceptances to. Apparently you are supposed to recieve an email when you recieve your rank although I don't think that you are told your rank. So if you haven't recieved that email, as I haven't, then you probably haven't gone through their initial post interview evaluation. Also I don't think they get around to accepting very large portions of their class until closer to the spring time.

If anyone knows the process better please correct me.

my bad, I guess maygirl already said all that

 Jinx!!!!

the problem with what you said is that it seems like they accept only on the score you receive on interview day. What about the rest of the application. Does anybody know anything about this.
