Hey, y'all. Just wondering if anyone out there has or is planning on getting an MBA along with practicing anesthesia. Does anyone know how useful the degree is, especially for anesthesiologists? I'm actually thinking of trying to start up a surgical center (with partners) if I decide to stay in general anesthesia, or if I decide the pain route, start up my own pain center. I know there's a lot of business involved (which I'm definitely interested in: econ major in college) in either of these plans. Just wondering if anyone is planning on going this route (or has gone this route) and if getting an MBA during residency, fellowship or during practice would be helpful or even feasible. Thanks in advance. :luck:
