I read in few MBA program websites that the prospective student should have finished following courses before the program

1. Introduction to accounting
2. In troduction to microeconomics
3. Introduction to macroeconomics
4. Introduction to statistics

Does anyone knows whether these courses can be done online?

I took all of the above courses online through the Mississippi State Univ Distance MBA program. I was able to register as an "unclassified grad student" without taking the GMAT and took all the standard undergrad pre-reqs for an MBA.

My work load has increased and I have not yet applied for formal entrance into the Miss Stat univ MBA program.

I didn't have number 1 or 4 on your list and had to take a foundations of business course that quickly covered these areas. The MCAT and successful completion of residency allowed me to avoid the GMAT requirement. My course was done on line, but is specific to the UMass program and may not fulfill the requirement for other programs.

Dear rys4,

Did you do these foundation courses through ACPE or through Amherst undergraduate online?

UMass Amherst - the relationship with ACPE hadn't started yet when I started the program.
