Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had experience with taking the MCAT in London/UK, and if they would recommend against it for any reason. (I am currently studying in London.) I dont want to wind up in a subpar testing center or anything like that. Also, due to the five hour time difference, will it be held later over here? The registration opens in february for the 2015 MCAT, so I am not sure as of now.

While I am at it, is anybody in London that would like to form a study group or something?

The time difference won't have anything to do with it. People in California don't start it at 5am when people in NY start at 8.

Go check out the testing center(s), I'm sure it's fine.

Why does it matter. lol

I took the MCAT in London last year. It was as great as taking the MCAT can be.

It was at the normal time. It's not a big deal.

So I don't have to worry about buying a ticket to take the test back in the States.

Btw, I too am an aspiring policy wonk and thinking of an MD/JD or MD/PhD. Did you apply simultaneously to law school or will you after you potentially matriculate into medical school?

Also, thank you to those who responded!

Not sure about which dual degree program I want to pursue yet. I will see where I end up at med school (all my applications will be to universities that house some sort of policy/law program in-house), and then decide during the preclinical years.
