On question 13 of Physical Sciences II, the solution has a diagram that seems to be cut off on its right, and there isn't a scroll bar that I can move left and right. Any suggestion how I can bring the entire image to view? or, should I just switch the screen to a higher resolution?
You can simply use the central divider to drag the questions a little bit more to the left. I hope this helps solve your problem.
Did you guys notice how intuitive achiever's PS section is? I thought I've learnt enough from the books and SDN's Q&A ... Look at how the author introduces some very practical questions in the nomogram passage. The F = ma thing can be drastically different with the car's tires rolling to a stop vs the car skidding to its halt ...
Seriously, these all sound like one guy under multiple accounts promoting his stuff...
It's an executable program that already has the dock adjusted for you. Keep the setting as it is so you don't have to worry about turning the hiding on and off.

Thanks, Damien. I have another question though:
In this program, I notice that you are given an option to take the test under normal test time, 1.5 times, or 2.0 times longer. The extended time is something I was granted when taking the SAT due to learning disability. Would AAMC accommodate similar circumstances if I were to ask for extra time on the MCAT?

I agree... although, if it is really one guy, I salute his patience.. some of his accounts are registered back in '07.. 🙄
haha.. earlier we had a GS spammer.. now MCAT Achievers... btw, has anyone tried it... how is it??

What about other sections like BS, VR, WS? Are they any good?
I heard students with learning disability have been granted extended time on the DAT, and am not sure if this would be permitted on the MCAT. You will have to write in and get a definite answer from AAMC. G/L.
The extended time privilege may not be a good thing for the MCAT, since the test will be reported as taken under non-standardized circumstances. This might likely affect ADCOM's decision when making a candidate selection between you and others.

I think the graphical representation of mitosis in one of the BS passages is pretty reminiscent of the recent MCATs, where a good understanding of the subject is imperative to analyzing what the questions truly call for.

Pay attention to the HIV protease passage too. This topic has lately become one of the MCAT favorites.![]()

NEW SDN RULE:
any thread that is obviously promoting a product by a new/unknown MCAT prep company must be recommended by at least 3 or 4 posters with 100 or 200 plus posts.
Having tons of people saying how great or cool it is with under 50 posts makes it seem suspect. And the single posts where it just says, "MCAT achiever is cool! buy it" are just stupid. Come on guys, we aren't that dumb. At least start it off saying you've been a lurker or something.
FAKE FAKE FAKE, someone kill this thread.
You can actually contact the author with any questions from the tests like I mentioned in the other thread. 👍

If it's ever permitted in the MCAT, it would be 1.5 times longer instead of twice as long. It's simply not feasible for someone sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours continuously under examination stress. Just my opinion.
yeah i've tried this software it's awful. Do not recommend. Absolutely awful.
