1) Are we allowed to adjust the brightness, etc for the computers when we take the MCAT? I can't possibly imagine staring at a bright screen for 7 hours...

2) When they say, 7 hour MCAT, does that mean the 7 hours includes breaks or is the exam itself 7 hours plus additional break times which make it longer than 7 hours?

GL with endless charting during a long shift. 👍

As for question 2), maybe try reading through the AAMC website instead of relying on everyone else's research.

Boards are even longer.

Call up a testing center and ask about screen adjustment.

Aren't you in your first semester? If so, this is NOT the time to be worrying about MCAT.

There's something about "I can't possibly imagine [thing that plenty of people deal with all the time]" that just makes me twitch. It speaks to a shortage of either imagination or perspective (or both).

Boards are even longer when you have to retake shelfs or an internal exam:bear:

I doubt you'll really notice the 6/7/whatever hours the new MCAT takes you. Time flies by when you're taking an incredibly important exam and you're thinking furiously almost the entire time.
