is there a correlation between certain MCAT dates having more of a curve than other dates? Like a date that is more popular meaning more test takers vs a date that has less test takers. I'm considering March/April of 2019 to take MCAT

Not really. More test takers doesn't mean a more or less lenient curve. Depends on how well takers take prepared for a particular date and even then the effect on you wouldn't be large.

It falls on you to prepare well for the exam. That means choosing a date that will allow you to put the time in so you can give your best.

Keep in mind that when determining the scales, everything is compared to previous test takers. The exam has been out for 3 years now so there is a solid foundation the AAMC has to scale the scores.
