You could even do one better, and start a complete subforum inside the pre-med section COMPLETELY dedicated to the MCAT and the questions that frequently come up regarding things like format, test dates, etc. You should do this and then claim it's creation on your app as an EC. Win-win.

When I used this web site years ago, it was very helpful and people helped each other out. It was the student doctor network brotherhood for lack of better words, but has anyone else notice that these days most replies are just sarcastic? it has become the student doctor let's make fun of everyone and waste our time brotherhood!

It wasn't helpful enough to make you realize that you would rather do medicine than pharmacy, right?

I wanted to do dual degree, but was not intrested in MD/PhD and couldn't find a program that offered MD/PharmD. So I went to pharmacy school and now Medical school. I think ultimately pharmacist and patients would appreciate me not making mistakes from the medicatioin side of the medicine.

I'll tell you what. I'll make it up to you. I'll tell one of the premed freshmen at my school that they can find the answer to how to do well on the mcat by going to the Pre-Allo forum on SDN and saying: "Tell me how to do well on the MCAT".

Totally unnecessary. Just pay attention in pharmacology in med school you'd be fine with knowing what to prescribe/treat with.

You'll be suprise to hear how many times a day I call Doctors office to tell them they prescribe the wrong medication. In the past 20 minutes I called three offices! and not always pharmacist catch the mistakes.
