If I take the MCAT ~Aug 15,2013, can I still apply for the 2016 cycle if need be?

The aamc also states that if you plan to apply for fall 2016 then you should "consider" the mcat2015, but I'm not sure if this means that schools won't accept the current version. https://www.aamc.org/students/applying/mcat/mcat2015/
