Hey everyone, this is a bit off topic, but is this test taking away anyone else's sleep!? I find myself studying all day and fighting to sleep at night. My day usually starts off like this: wake up at 12/1 pm, study till 2-3am, and then I try to sleep but it takes me at least a few hours to fall asleep (I usually fall asleep at around 5/6am, it's so frustrating). I can't sleep, even when I'm dead tired. I keep thinking about the MCAT, the admissions process, etc. I even tried sleeping a few hours one day so I could fall asleep early at night, but that was to no avail. I don't have time to devote 3 hours a day just TRYING to fall asleep, it's so wasteful and annoying! :scared: Anyone else experience this? Any tips that will help me fall asleep? Thanks.

haha, looks like I created a pretty successful thread (even though it was hijacked hahaha). Glad to know that I'm not alone! :luck:

Err... Guess what??? I finally fell asleep at 11pm.... on and off... and then I woke up VERY WIDEAWAKE at 2:30am... And now I'm here. Sleeping takes skills.

Ha ha. I did that my first night too! Actually, when I went to bed at 10 I was wide away at midnight... I just laid there until I went back to sleep though. It didn't take that long. They did tell me at my favorite coffee shop that day that I looked like ass, but I figured what the hell. I'm on a good cycle now.

Now I can't stop having dreams about damn physics equations...

For the past week and a half, I've been having trouble falling asleep. I try to go to bed at 12 and wake up at 8 but it takes me until 3 or 4 atleast to fall asleep, so I'm too tired to get up at 8 and instead get up at 10 or 11 instead. It started happening all of a sudden and I don't know what triggered it but I have a feeling that it's the MCAT. I do MCAT all day long and when I go to bed, my brain still thinks about the MCAT even though I mentally try to stop..

I don't know what to do and it's really freaking me out, can anyone help me please?

take a break, do nothing MCAT related for a day. you need to. otherwise you're just winding yourself down and tiring yourself out.
