MCAT Official Guide...Worth It?

Is the MCAT official guide worth it for the 146 questions? That is the sole reason I would be purchasing it for...

Sole reason you should purchase it (though there is a package that comes with the SA and an AAMC test.. so there's no need to purchase it individually).

The questions are THE MOST reflective of the current MCAT, they are specifically designed for this purpose. Moreso than the AAMC FLs.

I wouldn't buy it over the SAs, but I would probably buy it over the earlier AAMCs.

Anything from AAMC is worth looking at and working with. I agree that some have more relevance than others (mostly due to age), but they are all good to at least peruse.

If you have a hard time finding AAMC 6, don't fret. I'll leave it to others to fill in the details about AAMC 6 and the self assessment and study guide.
