Hey Guys
i'm new to this forum here. Just looking for some advice. I am currently a college junior. I will be taking the mcat in june, and i am planning to start to study for it this friday. I was just wanted your opinion on a few things. I am currently the president of a multicultural club which i really enjoy and love. The fall semester isn't bad for us, but in the spring we put on a huge show and for a month or two we are a bit busy. We usually have dance practices thrice a week for an hour. Then the week of the show, we are working non-stop from 8pm to 1am. I really do love this club and i know how important it is to have extracurricular activities (esp a presidency) for medical school. Here are the rest of my stats
Spring 2018:
Biochem
Physics 2
physics lab
genome lab (maybe)
dance
extracurricular activities: ems service (only on call once every two week), medical frat (rarely meet), and possibly a student health board that meets once a month, and this club presidency, research (have to go to san diego for 4 days in april to present my research)

I am a hard worker and i really want to do well on my mcat...should i be very worried about my schedule?
THANKS!

but do u think its possible to do well on the mcat with the schedule i have?

The schedule is only one factor.
Without an understanding of your grasp of pertinent material and an idea how well you perform in 7.5 hours of sustained standardized testing it is difficult to say.
I seems rather unlikely on the face of it...

Sleep is an important component of learning.

IMO it is way too early to start studying for a June test date

I agree with it being too early. You're liable to get burnt out between now and then. That much MCAT studying is daunting on anyone. What I ended up doing is studying during the fall semester and winter break and took the MCAT near the beginning of the spring. My spring was way busier than my fall and I did not end up regretting this choice at all.

Won't know if you'll be fine. It's hard to gauge a person's limits over the internet. Some burn out quicker than others, some can study for hours on end with any problem. Then intelligence comes to play in how fast and well you grasp the material.

My advice is start studying three months out. List what's a priority to you and keep those. Take a break from some activities you can spare and come back to it later. If you find that you cut out too much stuff you can always take them back up later. If you find that you took on too much stuff, well you're SOL cause you'll have to fulfill your responsibilities either way.

You've indicated this ec is something you love, and you're starting mcat prep 10 mos early. Seems like more than enough time, but as far as curtailing ec if it's too intrusive for adequate prep, you'll likely have a much better handle on that come Jan, and if you find you need more study time you can make the necessary adjustment at that point.

For what it's worth, and not knowing you academic skills, your Sp 2018 load doesn't seem overly difficult.
