Hey guys,

I had a question regarding studying for the MCAT. I'm taking prep classes so I was wondering if I should only do what the class does or should I use the Sn2ed method and just just the class to supplement my learning?

Thanks!

Experiment and see what fits you best. No one size fits all. As you gain confidence and the material gets easier for you maybe sn2 will help you more. It also depends on how much time you have before taking the mcat. You really want to have the basics down and get the thinking style of the mcat so the tests don't trip you up.

I took a prep class as well, and unless you're an incredible standardized test taker, you'll need to supplement your class time with ALOT of extra MCAT studying (and this is coming from someone who is a fairly good standardized tester). What you spend this time doing is going to be highly specific to each person, but there will definitely be areas that aren't covered in class that you'll want to review content-wise, and there will be tons of practice problems that you'll want to do that likely aren't done during the class.

Good luck!

What would you recommend doing? I currently have all of the books that come with The Princeton Review's prep program. Should I get other books and review those too?

Take as many FL practice tests under test conditions as possible. Take everything they give you and buy extras from other companies. Save the AAMC ones for the weeks leading up to the real thing.
