I know were "encouraged" to take the mcat once, but I still hear of people taking it twice. So my question is...is there a certain limit that your allowed to increase by when you take the mcat the second time?

For example, you make a 25 the first time. Then lets say you come back and make a 35. Is that acceptable by medical schools?

if you can go up 10 points defintely retake it.

some med schools count both, some avearge them, some take the last and some take the highest

good luck...i'm aiming to only take it once...i don't want to go thru this ever again :(
