ha! I'd wager that overlap between red/green can be much smaller than what your picture shows, depending on one's major.

I'm going through the AAMC official guide this week and while not many of the topics listed are unfamiliar to me, most of what I do recall from biology, organic chem, physics, etc.. is not even on their outline. SMH

So does one have to be a bio major to really be ready for the MCAT on a normal timeframe?
 
Hey! taking a practice exam is a super helpful way of prepping for your MCAT, if you have time to do it beforehand. A lot of them are 4 hours so about half the time but you get used to being in a structured environment and fielding content questions. If you're interested http://ktp.events/UniversityofPittsburgh has a bunch of free practice exams all over the country that you can register for! Hope that helps But I also feel your pain!!
