So I applied rather late into the fall 2006 cycle and have yet to recieve an acceptance. If things dont work out for me this cycle I want to make sure that I apply early for the next one, but with the new mcat schedule I am not sure what is considered early anymore. If I were to take the MCAT in like may or june and got it back a month later and submitted my AMCAS would this still be significantly better than not getting my application sent out to schools in october like happened last year with the august score release.

Also Id rather not retake the MCAT if I get in this year so I dont want to take it too early only to find out that I got in this year and wasted my time/money on a retake.
