Ok. Here's the deal: I want to be able to have my scores released to my advisors and to any schools that I apply to in this coming cycle. Do I have the option to have them released to these folks AFTER I see if I actually want them released (i.e. without checking "Yes" to either of below MCAT registration site questions)?

Thank you.

Excerpt (below) in question from AMMAC MCAT Registration site:

MCAT Recruiting Service*

I hereby authorize the AAMC to release my name, address, age, sex, state of residence, undergraduate major, email address and MCAT scores to those accredited U.S. and Canadian schools of medicine, osteopathy, podiatry, and veterinary medicine, and scholarship programs of the U.S. Government that request the MCAT Recruiting Service. They may send you information about their programs.

Release to Undergraduate Health Professions Advisor*

I hereby authorize the AAMC to release a record of my test scores, as derived from the administration of this edition of the MCAT, to the health professions advisor and the health professions advisory committee of the undergraduate institution that will provide my letters of evaluation to schools of medicine and/or where I will complete the courses required for application to medical school.

Well, it sounds like you want to "bury" your scores if they are bad. The fact is that when you apply, all the scores will been seen. There isn't an option to release your scores like the ACT/SAT.

Those are just to your advisor and to the recruitment offices. They don't have any effect on what the admissions office sees when you apply.
