MCAT Score Release

Today the MCAT scores from the 21st of August test are supposed to be released? On the site it says the scores will be released by 5pm ET, can anyone tell me when they usually release these scores during the day and if you receive an email notifying you that the scores are released or do you have to just keep checking the web-site?

Also, the website still has the 14 August scores as being released on 15 September but not updated to say that they have, infact, been released. Does anyone know if they have?

They will not e-mail you. The scores could come out anytime today, including late in the evening. They are very slow to update that banner in THx, it doesn't mean anything.

i agree . . . especially after taking the GRE which (unofficially) tells you your score as soon as you finish the test, and sends official scores with the writing sample score later.

but yeah it could be a while. I took the June 18 MCAT and when they were supposed to release our scores I got so stressed out, checking over and over that i eventually gave up and stopped checking because I thought they wouldn't get posted later than 8pm anyway. I was wrong, I think they had ended up being posting at like 9 or 10 maybe but I didn't check it again til the AM.

7/31 test scores weren't posted until ~9:45 p.m. And they were staggered. Some people got their scores a few minutes earlier than others.
