Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows the average time frame between the reporting of mcat scores to schools and the interview invites(?) I've called a couple of schools, and they've told me that they wait for mcat scores to be reported before asking anyone for interviews. Since I took the mcat in August, does this mean I have to wait untill November until I hear anything???

Thanks for your $.02

😱

I believe the schools will get your scores before you, but not significantly so (if I remember right, for the august MCAT schools will get them around late september) so assuming you have already completed your secondaries, and sent them in, the earliest you will hear anything would be late october or early nov. Good luck and be patient, you can still get in even if you interview late in the process.

Since there are a lot of people who took the August MCAT, I wouldn't worry about being late in the process. Schools do get your scores first. It depends on when the scores get to the schools this year.

Remember some of us are still waiting for interview invites and our applications have been complete for awhile.
