I'm planning on heading to graduate school (in women's studies or bioethics) before medical school. I'll be taking the MCAT next August, after I graduate from college. From what I've read on DO school websites, most will accept MCAT scores 2-3 years old. Do you think they look down on older scores in any way? I'm just worried about taking the exam after a year of non-science courses. Thanks!

If it were me, and I was happy with my past MCAT score, I'd skip the retake and concentrate on grades. Good luck.

nerdgrrl,

My MCAT scores were as old as humanly allowed (3 years old) and to my knowledge the fact that they were old never factored into the decisions handed to me...

Good Luck and hit me if you have any other questions...

How old is "as old as humanly allowed?"
