Hey everyone,

I've been lurking here for a few weeks in preparation for my July 18th MCAT, and so far it seems like most of you here have some good MCAT wisdom to share. Here's my deal:

I've been taking the online Kaplan Full-Lengths about twice a week, and while I started at a 23, I steadily increased from that to 26, 29, 31. Now, for the last 3, I've been holding steady at 31, with 9-11s consistently on the three sections. This is starting to freak me out. I'm wondering has anyone else leveled off like this prior to their tests and what they did to change up their tactics. I'm very confident on the science material, I think I may need a new approach to studying, which right now has just been taking practice test after practice test.

i am taking the july 18th mcat as well, and am beginning to see leveling on my mcat scores too. however, i do think that this is normal when the only thing that is being done to improve scores is the same thing, taking test after test. much of the improvement that happens is just because you get used to the format and answering questions and stuff, so after, i think it would be good to look at different tactics, more content review? and also, kaplan i hear is much more difficult! so if you are scoring in the thirties, im sure aamc scores would be much higher. good luck!
