Say I take the MCAT in June 2010. Would they be valid if I was applying in June 2013, or if I was applying the previous year and was to be accepted in 2013?

Not sure how clear my question is, I guess I'm just asking how they figure the three years.

edit: nevermind, I found it, and I can't figure out how to delete the post

Can you say what answer you found out?

yeah, I found a thread here that says it depends on when you're entering. Like, if you took it in 2010, the latest you could apply for is the class entering med school in 2013.

It's more complicated than that since some schools consider the month too, e.g. from month of matriculation so 1/2007 MCAT would be invalid for 8/2010 matriculation at certain schools.

Right, and this does vary from school to school; check the MSAR. Three years is pretty standard, but some are more lenient (and some are probably less so).
