So... I have recently switched to pre-med from another field. I just finished my 2nd year of undergrad; so by my limited knowledge, that means I need to take the MCAT in Spring 2020, to apply that fall. (Please correct me if I'm wrong). I have done well in my science courses, have a solid GPA, and am a good test-taker, but everything I have heard about the MCAT is terrifying. All of the study schedules I have seen require 8 hours a day, every day, for months. Now, I'm not afraid of hard work or long hours, but how do I integrate this in with a full undergraduate courseload? Or do I need to wait a year for when I have more time and end up with a gap year?

Any insight, experiences, or links to effective study plans are appreciated!
