hey guys. im in the summer before junior year and plan to take a gap year.

i am going t otake the mcat at the end of next summer (2013)
and apply in the following 2014 - that makes sense right??

and this will be okay right because i heard they are chagning up the mcat or what not.

and for 2013 when i take it they will take out writing section but will the rest of the test be the same?

i am really confused and would need some clarification. thanks

It's the same. You have the option to do experimental passages for compensation in place of the writing. Ps, vr, and bs are all still the same

but med schools will accept 2013 mcat in 2014 right even though the change happens in 2015... and i will find out acceptances in 2015

Yes. A lot generally allow a 3 year old MCAT, some want it to be no older than 2 years, and I'm not sure if there are any that won't allow it to be older than a year......but that would truly be the worst case senario. You'll be in good shape. Good luck!
