MCAT vs. GRE

Some PA schools give their applicants the option of submitting either GRE or MCAT scores. Just wondering if anyone knows the advantages/disadvantages to taking one or the other in the application process. Do schools look upon you better for taking the MCAT? I know it's harder (the MCAT) but preparing for the GRE is not fun. At the MCAT is science/medicine related. Anyways, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
