MCAT writing section examples

Do the examples for the writing section have to be 100% true/correct. I mean if u know about a historical incident but you forgot some details, can u make up these details (somewhat believably) and not have points taken off?
 
Yes, I believe you can make up hypothetical examples. They do not check any examples for historical accuracy or do any fact-checking, so even if you make up something COMPLETELY untrue - as long as it is an appropriate example to what you are talking about - it won't hurt your score.
