Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew the Breakdown of the questions on the MCCEE. In the Step 1/2, almost 60% of the questions are Internal Medicine, and 10% each for the remaining 4 of Psych, Surgery, Peds, and ObGyn.

How is the breakdown of the MCCEE? Is it true that there are just as many Psych or Peds questions as there are IM questions?

Finally, irregardless of the number of questions, is each of the 6 sections of the MCCEE equally weighted? Meaning you could do REALLY well on IM, but get a bad score because you didn't do well enough in Ethics?

Can someone please answer?!?!?

1/6th of each category.

You need a total passing score.

Hi, thanks for the response. Just to clarify:

Each section has an equal number of questions?

Each section is equally weighted - meaning each section has an equal effect on the score?

Anyone please can clarify? This is urgent...

Please look it up on the website? Ask a friend who's done it?
