Just found out that I passed part 1👍. Woo hoo! You may recall that I had a little pretest anxiety re: part 1 since I graduated from an American med school and had only done the USMLEs.

Anyone, either Canadian or otherwise, as long as you are fluent in either French or English and have completed a decent med school program should not need to be anxious about this exam.

I looked at TN for about a week before the exam and took the exam in the 2nd last week of med school. My med school (Univ of Kentucky College of Medicine) prepared me well. Don't stress it. I thought the USMLE I and IICK were both significantly harder than the Canadian exam.

If you agree or disagree, bring it!😎

I'm an American who went to med school in Canada and felt:

MCCQE I > USMLE I > MCCQE II > USMLE II > USMLE III in terms of difficulty. But that's just me 🙂

If I plan on matching in Canada, through Carms, in 2008 (June) when do I have to have my MCCQE I done by? and when do I need to apply?

thanks in advance

Hi, I'm planning to sit the MCCEE. I would very much appreciate you told me how the test is like (perhaps also a good source to study from.. since the T.Notes are meant to review for the MCCQE I..). Thanks.

toronto notes is the book for MCCEE as well

Thanks for the tip!
Is the test made up mostly of 'Basics'? such as Pathology, Physiology, etc .. or does it also include clinical scenarios in Gynecology, Peds..?
I really don't know much about the test so any commentary really helps..
I've read the mcc webpage but little is said about this.
Thanx for your answers....👍

, eventhough I graduated from Med School 21 years ago, it was a piece of cake. I used Kaplan notes only. I am planning to set for MCCQE I in April, have no idea what type of exam is that, some say it is similar to MCCEE but online, is that true....? any advise is appreciated.

Thanks
