I am trying to check my status using their online link, but I get the "error ... due to cookies being blocked, blah blah" ...

Anyone else get that message? I tried to unblock the cookies and whatnot, but still having the problems.

Please let me know if you can help me out.

I had a similar problem and when I called they told me that I couldn't use a MAC to look at their page, because it wouldn't work as well. Try using a PC-- see if that works better.

What you compter has on it is a security block on its web browser like internet explorer. Here is what you need to do to be able to log on to that website. (this is assuming that your on a PC)

1. Click on my computer on the desktop

2. on windows XP there should be a control panel link on the left of the screen or if its is an eariler version of windows there should be a control panel icon there instead of a link on the side of the screen.

3. open the control panel and open Internet Options

4. There should be a tab that says Privacy Select that.

5. There is a slide bar there to effect the amount of cookies your computer accepts. Slide it lower to get more access. I usually pick low when I check MCW.

6. When you have selected it click apply and close the window.

7. When you done checking the website you can always go back and move the slider to help protect your computer form "unhealthy" cookies. I don't mean the fattening kind either 🙂

Hope this helps.

I did all of the things they tell you to do to your browser's settings. It didn't help. I called them and went through another list of changes they recommend, it didn't help. I finally just used a pc at work, they suggested I find one in a library. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I did the steps that you told me to do and it doesn't work . So, I guess I'll just venture off to find another pc.

good luck.

hmmmmmm sorry about that. Thats how I usually get that error. Just thinking of it. You need to close and reload the MCW page after you applied the change. I am sure you did that and it still didn't work. hmmmm. It could be an issue with a firewall or another setting. Its hard to help over a forum. 🙂 Guess thats why tech supports have chat rooms. 😉
