MD and DO Rec Letter

If you plan on applying to both DO and MD schools and you plan on getting an MD and a DO letter describing how you are committed to the DO philosophy, how do MD schools look at the DO letter?

I wouldn't send the DO letter to AMCAS? Easy.

Don't send the DO letter to MD schools. It looks very odd.

DO and MD fine for AACOMAS, but DO preferred.
MD only for AMCAS IMO
