I just graduated pharmacy school this May, studying for the boards and working and want to apply to med school next April. Knowing how hard it is to get into med school, I am wondering if there are any schools where coming from a rural area is a hook or looked upon a little favorably?
I am from a town in central PA, population 525. My high school graduating class was in the mid 70s. I heard that Jefferson might have a rural physician shortage program, any others?
