MD/MBA considered "extended"?

I did a dual degree which required me to do a year of MBA classes between third and fourth years. At my school you apply during your third year and take a "LOA" to do the MBA year. Is this considered "extended"? So far I wrote yest under: "Was your medical education/training extended or interrupted?" And explained it.

Yes, and it's fine. No one will hold it against you (in fact, programs will hopefully see it as a positive)
