I've always been curious about these programs, and I'm thinking about doing one. One problem is that I can't figure out what the benefits of the MBA might be. Help please.

Yeah, MBA would be so awesome. I think just for the benefit of understanding the economy, etc.. You'd have an upper hand in getting the best "deal" for a job, as the people hiring you can't strong arm you and sucker you in. Also, getting into private-practice, this would be ideal. I eventually hope to open my own private office, and have my own practice. ahh

You will ultimately learn how to manage an organization. Do not underestimate the value of being able to do this. Classes like strategy and Org. Behavior are designed to force you to think laterally, and this is a skill that will only help you in medicine.
