MSIII thinking of going in psych. Stella board scores, had a B for a child psych rotation, have PhD in neuropsych pharmacology. multiple papers, presentations. Talked to some big shots in the field, with my chinese (mandarin/cantonses) speaking capability, I will be attractive to West Coast programs. Thoughts? I want to do Child Psych-mostly likely sex stuff.

this whole thing sounds sorta suspicious....a grand total of 3 posts, believing you will be attractive to west coast programs because you speak chinese(never mind the supposed great board scores and phd in neuropsych), a ms3 whose B was in child psych(that's not a core ms3 rotation...it would be more normal to say the B was in psych even if you spent most of your time on child psych unit), and finally an interest in 'sex stuff'......not saying it is definately not legit, but it definately raises suspicions. Oh, and there is seemingly no question....what exactly are we supposed to give 'thoughts' about? If the question is whether you will be an attractive candidate for psych programs...the answer is of course you will. Most every program in the country, including those on the west coast, would love to have someone with a phd in neuropsych who also has great board scores.

Interested in children and sex......? Have you thought about another field? Maybe one where you aren't close to children?

what type of sex stuff do you want to do??

Well, considering the other post by this person is in the urology forum...
