• cGPA/sGPA 3.53/3.67 , super strong upward trend, my 1st year I had a 1.53 GPA if that gives you an idea

• Research 2 semesters in analytical lab. Working there full time now for about a year and will continue this year as well. No research publications yet, however worked on three high impact papers, one of which I will first author. 2 of them collaborations with big pharmaceutical companies that will be published soon. I think it's still too early probably for me to receive II being that I just submitted so I don't know if I would say I'm disappointed. I guess a reality check on my chances is what I'm looking for.

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not. No applicant is God's gift to medical schools, also you'd think so from some of the posts in these fora.

I would add more fully funded (but not necessarily MSTP), mid to low tier MD PhD programs. Your list is extremely top heavy and my understanding is that in state preference is pretty nonexistent in MD PhD admissions.

edit: Remembered that you are likely economically disadvantaged (per FAP). I still think a few well selected lower tier schools would be worth adding to increase your chances of success this cycle.
