I was rejected from the online app.
I don't think it was being an out-of-stater. UWash bends over backwards to keep reminding that their md/phd program considers all equally, regardless of the residency.

Just got the WashU MSTP thin letter, oh well, I will still go check out the MD only program!

You posted your rejections in this thread earlier. . .

I think it lets applicants know they are not the only ones out there. While the acceptance thread is great, some people have only gotten rejections thus far.

Most of these threads serve no purpose to me, but that is no reason for me to question thier existence IMHO.

It's also good for those of us who are waiting to hear from certain schools. If other people are being rejected or accepted and you aren't hearing anything, you can pretty much assume that you are on hold for the time being.
