My stats are a 3.64 GPA, 39 MCAT, 3 years of research, and not a lot of volunteering.

Its my dream to complete a dual MD/PhD degree, I know the top schools I'll be applying to but I was wondering if you forum folk know of any MD/PhD programs which are easier to get into if they even exist. All help is welcome, thanks!

When I applied I had a lower MCAT and a higher GPA and my "safety" (not sure if you can really call them that) schools were Cincinnati and UIC. Also state schools like Iowa, UMD, etc (I didn't apply to those).

Are you set on MSTP, or just MD/PhD? A lot of non-MSTP MD/PhD programs are considered "lower tier"

It's more a matter of matching a student's research interests with a school's research strengths. Try to look for schools with research similar to what you would like to pursue during your PhD. Send me a PM if you want to talk more.
