Hey all,
Just wondering which is better for MD applications:
-Doing a post-bacc
-retaking classes as an undergrad (I took some credits at a CC during the summer and didn't do as well as i anticipated, so I want to retake them at my original CSU)
I basically want to know: does a post-bacc hold more weight than retaking as an undergrad?
I know MD schools, unlike DO, do NOT do grade replacements. Rather, they average out the 2...is this correct? So say I get a C in Ochem 1 and take it again to get an A it will average out to a B in my gpa according to participating med schools? OR would it be best just leave the C and change my study habits to get an A in ochem 2 and establish an upward trend in my upper divisions?
Thanks!
