Yea you really won’t be able to choose based on this for the most part. Applying to med school you cast a wide net and get a few bites. Usually 1-2 schools will accept you, maybe 5-10 if you’re really lucky or a rock star candidate.
And at the end of the day this doesn’t really matter either. Who cares who teaches your pre-clinical classes? MDs, PhDs, whoever...year 1-2 classes are just for board (STEP1) review. It could be taught by a trained monkey for all I care. A huge difference between undergrad and med school is that in med school most of your education is self directed.
When choosing a school, look at their clinical education, their students quality of life, and (most importantly) COST.
