So I am going to be submitting my app next month and have been getting ready for my mcat. Pretty much I and getting 9-11 in PS 10-12 in BS, but 8-10 in verbal. I am a KY resident so I am pretty much just shooting for a 30. I have solid grades 3.7cgpa and 3.6 sgpa and good EC's but I am just wondering if I got an 8 in verbal would it kill my chances.

Well, if you want to know about University of Kentucky in particular, the 10th percentile is an 8 on verbal so it looks like they don't take much lower than that. You're a little lower than their average GPAs so it would be nice if you got a 31 (their average accepted MCAT) or higher, TBH

I can see that. For U of L how would that look then. I know they have lower gpas so I would be above their averages for their class profiles on their websites.

Same for Louisville (8 as 10th percentile for verbal)
The accepted GPA per MSAR is cGPA of 3.73 and sGPA of 3.67 for Louisville, so you're closer to that. As you've noticed, the class profile of matriculants is likely lower

I do know that the class profile for U of L is as follows

gpa
3.63
sgpa
3.52

MCAT
PS
9.3
Verbal
9.7
BS
10

Judging from this its not a huge deal on the gpa I'm fine in that aspect for them however I am wondering if I did overcome the 8 and still scored like a 30-31 would it be a huge negative to have an 8.
