It has been one week since the launch of MDapplicants.com, and it has grown, as they say, like a weed.
In seven days of existence:
There are now 122 profiles, with an average overall GPA of 3.62 and an average MCAT score of 31.6. These applicants applied to an average of 12.6 schools, were invited to an average of 5.2 interviews, and received an average of 1.8 acceptances.
There have been 2,533 visitors to the site.
Those visitors have performed 9,267 database searches.
If this sort of popularity is any reflection of the load the server might experience when more than this little corner of the world knows of its existence, I might need heftier hardward sooner than I thought....
