I'm posting this here since we had a fairly heated discussion about vaccines about a month ago.

For all the anti-vaccine *****s:

The child is 12 months old so he most likely didn't get his MMR#1 or had just recently received it before traveling abroad.

Thank god there are still enough people with brains who know the importance of vaccines so this will most likely turn out to be an isolated incident thanks to herd immunity. Let's just hope he didn't go anywhere near Jenny McCarthy's kids

Unfortunately we have people who can't think critically, evaluate evidence and decide rationally. This problem transcends the vaccine hysteria to so many other issues. I seriously think critical thinking should be a mandatory course throughout high school and college. It's easily the most important course I've ever taken..

You make a good point. "Evidence Based Thinking" should be a mandatory freshman course in college.
