Hi there,
Im looking into the Med challenger program for my inservice and was wondering if anyone has used it and had good results?
I've used peer 7 which is great but im someone that needs more than 200 questions to study. Does anyone have a copy compatible for mac?
Any help would be appreciated (feedback or a copy i could pay/borrow)!

get the peer CD for your computer. med challenger is just too much and not all that focused on what you really need to know. it is a good resource, I actually did most of it during residency, but not for the inservice. there are many shorter and better references (peer, carol rivers, the 1,000 questions book)

Ive heard that book is only so-so ? You really think it was helpful?
Its certainly cheaper!

Challenger Corporation has refused to develop MedChallenger for Macs. So I refuse to buy a copy.

And they've refused to stop sending me their damn spam emails that read like a ginsu knife special. Yet another reason to avoid them.

Take care,
Jeff

There is honestly nothing better for resident study than PEER. Now you have to take the time to read the answers, otherwise you might as well not waste your time. Every answer is filled with 4-5 teaching points.
